NOLA celebrity chef, John Besh, must know something about cooking. He has two television shows, four cookbooks and nine restaurants. Besh Big Easy: 101 Home Cooked New Orleans Recipes is something I want to try.
This is not cheffy food – it is good home cooking.
Oysters, crab, crawfish and shrimp. You see them at the market and pass them by not quite sure what to do with them. Well, now you’ll know. Many gumbos and jambalayas. Vegetables and desserts.
The only thing I notice missing was the famous New Orleans cocktails.
